Applications
Where PVC patches are used.
PVC and TPU patches are the workhorse of branding on outerwear, bags and accessories: raised, hard-wearing and moulded in your own colours and outline.
- Outerwear & puffer jacketsMoulded PVC holds a crisp, readable logo on thick fabric and can be sewn through a down or fleece panel.
- Bags, packs & luggageScratch-resistant with clean glossy edges, so the branding still reads after a season on the road.
- Headwear & capsFront and side badges with fine relief detail and colour matched to your artwork.
- Pullers & small accessoriesMatching zipper pullers, pins and tags that tie a range together.

Buyer questions
Frequently asked.
- What temperature and pressure should I use for a heat-seal PVC patch? Our standard setting is 135–140 °C, 18–20 seconds at 4 kg, reverse press and cool peel. Always test on your own fabric and press first, because the best setting depends on the backing and the garment. Coated, waterproof or windproof fabrics must be tested on the actual fabric — send us a swatch and we will press it before production.
- Can a PVC patch be die-cut to a custom outline?Yes. The mould is cut to your outline, so the patch can follow the shape of your logo or a figure. Send the artwork with the outline drawn, or tell us which parts you want raised.
- Will a PVC patch survive washing? For heat-applied PVC trims we test to a 10-wash standard: 10 cycles of 1 hour each with a small amount of household detergent, checking for lifting, edge peel and colour loss. Tell us your own wash code and fabric and we will confirm the backing.
- How is a PVC patch attached to the garment?Sew-on, iron-on, self-adhesive or hook-and-loop — all are common. Sew-on is the usual choice for heavy outerwear; iron-on and adhesive suit lighter panels.
- What is the minimum order for a custom PVC patch?1,000 pieces per design. Below that, the mould and set-up costs dominate the unit price, so 1,000 pieces is the practical minimum.
- How long does sampling and bulk production take?A physical sample takes 5–7 working days after artwork approval. Bulk production takes 14–16 working days after the sample is approved.
